Make your voting plan
Vermont's official resources can show your ballot, registration status and polling place. Go Vermont does not collect your address or voting information.
See your own ballot and polling place
Use the Vermont Voter Portal to check your registration, view a sample ballot, find your polling place and track an early or absentee ballot. Your polling place's opening time can vary by town; the Secretary of State says all polling places close at 7 p.m. Eastern on Election Day. Check the official polling information.
Eligible Vermonters may register through Election Day, including at the polls during voting hours. Read the Secretary of State's registration instructions.
Vote early or by mail
The Secretary of State says qualified voters are automatically mailed a general election ballot by October 1. Check its status in the Vermont Voter Portal. For return options, drop boxes and in-person early voting, use the official early and absentee voting guide or contact your town clerk. Availability and local details can change.
Read candidate statements
The Secretary of State's voter guide links candidate-submitted statements and a personalized ballot view. A candidate statement is that candidate's own account of their views.
