The Town Office is closed for July 4th and will be open by appointment only on Saturday July 11th. Please contact the town office to schedule if interested.
Join us for a joyful, old-fashioned Fourth of July celebration at the Broad Brook Community Center and around Guilford Center. 12 pm – 12:30 pm: Reading of the Declaration of Independence by locals of all ages at the Guilford Center Meeting House* 12:30 pm: Procession down to the BBCC 12:30-3 pm: 4th of July Picnic! BBQ available for purchase from Guilford Country Store, Strawberry Shortcake by donation, free popsicles and watermelon. Live music by Laurie Indenbaum & Mary Cay Brass on

This class is free to all! Bone Builders is an gentle exercise class using various techniques. The focus is on strength building, flexibility and balance. Wear comfy clothes. No special equipment is required. Though some folks bring small hand weights. All levels of fitness are welcome! FYI: This program, which is now in it’s 3rd year(!) was started by the Worcester Neighbor Network (WNN).
This 60-minute class is accessible to people of all abilities and experience. Kripalu-style yoga is a form of Hatha Yoga (flow) style class. Guided by Lindsay Parise, a yoga practitioner of over two decades, who is excited to offer this community-based class. Read the full description on the website. Props available. Children 10 and older are welcome if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Cost: $10 ($5 for seniors and those with EBT benefits)
Currently this class has no instructor. Just a bunch of folks who come together to informally practice.
Get together to knit, crochet, craft, and socialize – weekly in “downtown” Tinmouth. We’ll meet under the Creamery roof on beautiful afternoons, we’ll meet in the Old Firehouse when inclement, and we’ll meet via Zoom during the winter months. Join us for stories and songs at the library every Tuesday afternoon. Most suited for kids 5 and under, but all are welcome. We’d love to have you join us! We’ll sing a song, read a story, and make sure you’re all set with reading materials for you and your kid(s). It’s a great time to meet other parents and have time for kids to play together inside or outside at the library.

The day is free to all, and will be filled with fun, games, and lots of chances to cool off in the summer heat. Regularly Scheduled Selectboard Meetings occur at 6:30 pm on the second and fourth Monday of every month, unless it falls on a holiday, then the meeting will be the Wednesday immediately following at 6:30 pm.

Description: __________________________________________ Support Group meets the first and third Thursday of the month from 1:00-2:00 pm at Broad Brook Community Center. Seniors meet to chat about the many aspects of aging in place; health, fitness, communication with family, wisdom from life experiences, or something new we hadn’t thought of before!
