Bridget Burkhardt

Bridget Burkhardt has served as the Democratic State Representative for Vermont's Chittenden-8 district since January 2025, succeeding Noah Hyman. Before entering the legislature, she worked in investment banking, private equity, and community development finance across New York, London, and Chicago, and later managed a portfolio for a community development private equity fund focused on healthcare and addiction treatment. She previously served three terms on the South Burlington School Board from 2016 to 2022, including one year as chair. Burkhardt holds a BA in Russian Language and Literature from Brown University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
