Edward "Teddy" Waszazak is a Democratic member of the Vermont House of Representatives representing the Washington-3 District, having assumed office on January 8, 2025. Born on the North Shore of Boston, he moved to Barre in 2017 and was elected to the Barre City Council in 2019, becoming the youngest person to serve on that body; his 2024 House election similarly made him the youngest person elected to represent Barre City in the State House. He works in communications at Hunger Free Vermont, serves on the Aldrich Library Board of Trustees, and has previously worked on campaigns including as Vermont State Director for Senator Elizabeth Warren's 2020 presidential campaign.
