Emilie Kornheiser

Emilie Kornheiser has represented Brattleboro in the Vermont House of Representatives since 2019, currently serving the Windham-7 district. She chairs the Ways and Means Committee and serves on the Joint Fiscal Committee, and holds a background in community development, having worked as a community development specialist for the State of Vermont and as director of workforce development for Youth Services Inc. Kornheiser has sponsored right to repair legislation and in 2024 introduced legislation to place a new tax on wealthy Vermont residents.
