James Masland

James Masland has represented the Windsor-Orange-2 District in the Vermont House of Representatives since 1999, most recently winning re-election on November 5, 2024. A Thetford resident since 1979, he holds a B.A. and M.S. from Stanford University and has worked as a builder and work-based learning consultant, operating Masland Construction since 1975. He currently serves on the House Ways and Means Committee and has been involved in organizations including Upper Valley Habitat for Humanity and the ECFiber Executive Committee, having previously served on the Thetford Select Board from 1987 to 2000.
