Jill Krowinski

Jill Krowinski is a Democrat representing the Chittenden-16 district in the Vermont House of Representatives, where she has served since 2012. She was elected the 92nd Speaker of the House in January 2021, becoming the fourth woman to hold that position, and previously served as House Majority Leader from 2017 to 2020. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in urban studies and political science, she previously worked as Executive Director of Emerge Vermont and as Vice President of Education and Vermont Community Affairs at Planned Parenthood of Northern New England. She currently chairs the House Rules Committee and the Joint Legislative Management Committee.
