Jonathan Cooper

Jonathan Cooper represents the Bennington-1 district in the Vermont House, serving the towns of Pownal, Readsboro, Searsburg, Stamford, and Woodford. He brings more than a decade of community and economic development experience to the role, including his work managing the Community & Economic Development program at the Bennington County Regional Commission (BCRC) and serving as Board Chair of Sunrise Family Resource Center. Cooper has focused his work on tax relief for district residents, public resources for rural towns, and economic opportunities for local businesses.
