Kristi Morris is a Democrat representing the Windsor-3 district in the Vermont House, serving on the House Committee on Environment and Energy. Morris, a Springfield native, spent 44 years at Lovejoy Tool Co. — 28 as Manager of Engineering — and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vermont Technical College. He was appointed to the seat in July 2019 by Governor Phil Scott following the death of Rep. Robert Forguites, then won his first full biennium in 2020. Morris also serves on the Springfield Selectboard, where he has held the Chair position for ten years, and has been an active Firefighter/EMT with the Springfield Fire Department since 1974.
