Leonora Dodge

Leonora Dodge has represented the Chittenden-23 district in the Vermont House of Representatives since 2023 and serves as Clerk of the House Committee on Transportation. Born to Irish and Mexican parents, she grew up in Montreal and Mexico City and holds a B.A. in Latin American Studies from Williams College and an M.A. in Latin American History from the University of Texas at Austin. Before entering politics, she taught Spanish at Vermont Commons High School and Champlain College and worked as a paraeducator in the Spanish Immersion Elementary program in Jericho, and has volunteered with organizations including Migrant Justice and HomeShare Vermont.
