Lisa Hango

Lisa Hango is a Republican member of the Vermont House of Representatives representing the Franklin-5 District, serving since her appointment by Governor Phil Scott in February 2019. A resident of Berkshire in Franklin County, she serves as Vice Chair of the House Committee on Government Operations and Military Affairs and co-chairs both the VT National Guard & Veterans Affairs Caucus and the VT Rural Caucus. She holds a BA in economics from the University of Vermont and has a background in computer, retail sales, and human resources industries. In 2023, she was recognized as a Legislator of the Year by the Vermont League of Cities and Towns for her work on behalf of rural communities.
