Lori Houghton

Lori Houghton has represented the Chittenden-22 district in the Vermont House of Representatives since 2017 and currently serves on the House Committee on Health Care and as Vice Chair of the House Rules Committee. She earned a B.S. in Business and Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.A. in Organizational Management from George Washington University, and previously worked in sales and management roles at TransUnion and LexisNexis before retiring to focus on her legislative work. Before her time in the House, she served eight years as an Essex Junction Trustee and has been involved in community organizations including the Essex Junction Parks and Recreation, Heart and Soul of Essex, and the Five Corners Farmers Market. She and her husband Jon operate Maplehurst Florist, a third-generation family business, in Essex Junction.
