Marc Mihaly

Marc Mihaly has represented the Washington-6 district in the Vermont House of Representatives since January 2023, winning re-election in November 2024 with nearly 94% of the vote. A graduate of Harvard College and UC Berkeley School of Law, he previously served as a legal aid attorney, worked in the California attorney general's office, and went on to become a professor, environmental program director, and president and dean of Vermont Law School. Before his legislative service, he was vice chair of the Calais Selectboard and has served on the boards of the Vermont Land Trust and VEIC, the parent organization of Efficiency Vermont.
