Mark Higley

Mark Higley is a Republican state representative from Lowell, Orleans County, who has served in the Vermont House since 2009, representing the Orleans-Lamoille district. A self-employed general contractor since 1978, he served in the U.S. Navy Seabees after high school and later served two terms on the Brattleboro selectboard in 1986 and 1987 before becoming a lister in Lowell in 1994. He currently serves as Ranking Member of the House Committee on Government Operations and Military Affairs and is a member of the Vermont Beef Producers Association, Vermont Farm Bureau, and Vermont Sugar Makers Association.
