Mollie S. Burke is a Democrat representing Brattleboro's Windham-8 district in the Vermont House, first elected in 2008. She serves on the House Committee on Transportation and chairs the House Sexual Harassment Prevention Panel. Burke is the founder and director of Art in the Neighborhood, an organization providing tuition-free art classes to children in low-income housing communities, and also teaches in Vermont schools through the Vermont Arts Council artist-in-residence program. She holds a Master of Fine Arts from Goddard College and did graduate study at the London School of Economics.
