Philip Jay Hooper (born 1993) has represented the Orange-Washington-Addison district in the Vermont House of Representatives since January 2017, making him one of the youngest legislators in Vermont when first elected. He holds a double major in history and government from Connecticut College and attended Trinity-Pawling for high school. Hooper, who grew up in Brookfield and now lives in Randolph Center, is the son of former State Representative and Secretary of State Donald M. Hooper, and hosts a radio show called *The Heat of the House* on WCVR while the legislature is in session.
