R. Scott Campbell

R. Scott Campbell is a Democrat representing the Caledonia-Essex district in the Vermont House of Representatives, where he has served since 2019 and currently serves as Vice Chair of the House Committee on Energy and Digital Infrastructure. His professional background is in construction, building design, and energy modeling, including founding Capstone Community Action's 3E Thermal, a program providing energy consulting and incentives for affordable apartment housing statewide. Campbell holds a BA in Government from Cornell University and resides in St. Johnsbury, where he has been active in developing the Caledonia Food Co-op, helping raise over $1 million in local contributions and investments to purchase a building for the store.
