Charlie Papillo

Charlie Papillo serves as Vice Chair of the Colchester Selectboard, representing a town where he has lived for more than 30 years. A born Vermonter, he spent 20 years as co-host of the popular morning radio show "Charlie and Ernie in the Morning" on WVMT before retiring from radio in 2018. He was appointed to the Selectboard in September 2020 after an application and interview process, noting at the time that he wanted to "go in and learn and work as a group" rather than disrupt the existing body. He and his wife Debbie also operate a mobile pizza business, selling at Sam Mazza's Farm on weekends.
