Phil Young

Phil Young serves as Selectboard Chair in Glover, Vermont, having first been appointed to the board before being subsequently elected. In May 2025, he publicly opposed Vermont Lieutenant Governor John Rodgers' effort to claim a disputed road as private property, stating that it "doesn't make sense to me to give up a right-of-way that we've had for 200 years." Young later announced his resignation from the board at an August 2025 meeting, citing what was best for his town and family.
