Sarah E Carpenter

Sarah E. Carpenter is a lifelong Burlington resident and graduate of Burlington High School, the University of Vermont, and Harvard University. She served as Executive Director of the Vermont Housing Finance Agency (VHFA), Vermont's primary affordable housing funder, for 20 years, and also worked with Cathedral Square Corp. She is seeking continued service on the Burlington Ward 4 City Council, emphasizing the city's ongoing recovery from challenges that emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic.
