Andrew Perchlik, born June 3, 1968, in Greeley, Colorado, has served as one of three Vermont State Senators representing the Washington District since January 2019, when he was elected alongside incumbents Ann Cummings and Anthony Pollina on both the Democratic and Progressive party lines. Before entering the legislature, he built a career in sustainable energy, serving as director of Vermont's Clean Energy Development Fund and founding executive director of Renewable Energy Vermont. He holds a Bachelor of Science in environmental politics from the University of Northern Colorado and earlier served in the Peace Corps in Panama before settling permanently in Vermont in 1995.
