Nader Hashim

Nader Hashim represents the Windham District in the Vermont Senate as a Democrat, having previously served one term in the Vermont House of Representatives from 2019 to 2020. Before his legislative career, he served as a Vermont State Trooper stationed at the Brattleboro and Westminster Barracks, where he was a member of the Fair & Impartial Policing Committee and the Drug Recognition Expert team. He currently serves on the Senate Judiciary Committee (as Vice Chair), the Senate Education Committee, and the Senate Panel on Ethics (as Vice Chair), and works outside the legislature as a paralegal and investigator at a private law firm in Brattleboro.
