Brenda Steady

Brenda Steady is a Republican member of the Vermont House of Representatives representing the Chittenden-25 district, serving since January 2025, and sits on the House Committee on Human Services and the Canvassing Committee. A lifelong Milton resident, she previously served seven years on the Milton Selectboard and spent a decade working in the Milton School District as a substitute teacher and aide. Before entering public life, she worked as a secretary for Senator Tom Crowley and as a bookkeeper and personal assistant in the private sector.
