Chris Taylor

Chris Taylor is a Republican State Representative serving Milton and Georgia in the Chittenden-Franklin district, first elected to the Vermont House in 2022 and appointed to the House Education Committee. A native Vermonter who moved to Milton 17 years ago, he brings experience working seven years at Milton Elementary School and is currently in his eighth year on the Milton Selectboard, having first been elected there in 2017. During his first term in Montpelier, he was appointed to the School Construction Aid Task Force, served on a Conference Committee to negotiate the passage of H.204, a literacy bill, and was nominated by Governor Scott for the Council of State Governments Henry Toll Fellowship for leadership.
