David Yacovone

David Yacovone is a Democrat representing the Lamoille-Washington District in the Vermont House, currently serving since January 2025 after previous terms from 1993–1996, 2017–2018, and 2019–2020. He spent a 40-year career in Vermont health and human services, including serving as Commissioner of Aging and Disabilities under Governor Dean and Commissioner for Children and Families under Governor Shumlin, as well as working 16 years as a licensed Nursing Home Administrator. He currently serves on the House Committee on Appropriations and remains active in his community as a Trustee for the Manor Nursing Home and Lamoille Health Partners.
