Esme Cole is a Democratic member of the Vermont House of Representatives representing Windsor-6 District, a seat she has held since January 2023. Born in White River Junction and a graduate of Hartford High School, she earned a B.A. in international studies from Kenyon College in 2019. Her professional background includes work as a nonprofit operations coordinator, classroom aide, and manager at an early childhood education center, and she has also served on the Hartford Energy Commission. Cole won re-election on November 5, 2024, running on both the Democratic and Vermont Progressive Party lines.
