Brenda Steady

Brenda Steady serves as a Selectboard member and Clerk for Milton, Vermont, currently in a three-year term set to expire in 2026. She has served on the Selectboard for over seven years and also holds a seat as a State Representative, which she has noted provides additional resources for Milton residents. Over the past 22 years, Steady has additionally served as a Civil Board member and Justice of the Peace, spent nine years on the School Board, and has been involved in notable civic efforts including the 1996 committee to merge the Village and Town Charter and a successful push to bring kindergarten into Milton's public school system.
